2013
Another year has started and I'm still just as fat (fatter actually) than ever.
It's gross and uncomfortable for starters. My body is not enjoying all this extra it has to carry around and it's making everyday things even harder to do.
For now, I'm back to tracking my food on Loseit.com which syncs my computer with my phone, so no excuses! What's cool is that it has a bar code scanner, so I don't even have to enter in foods not on their list, just scan and enter how much I ate.
I'm trying to move more, slowly but surely. Pinterest will hopefully help me get smaller, finding exercises and recipes to try.
Before photos are coming, that's going to suck and be awful, but hopefully motivating.

Yesterday was a good start.
Running in the morning, followed by some abs and push-ups.
Hula hooping and the daily tone up from The Sisterhood of the Shrinking pants.
Food was within reason. After dinner I ate a bowl of strawberries and some tea that put me over my daily budget by 50 calories, but didn't exceed my exercise calories. I was a bit hungry at bed time though.
Today I already went on a run, slightly quicker than yesterday with much more running. Still about as fast as a snail, but it's not painful, so we're going with it. Once home, did some abs and then picked up the weights for a short curicut of upper body.
If I cans still move tonight, I'll do the Sisterhood daily tone up and a bit of hooping.
To save myself a few calories, I've shrunk down the smoothies just a bit.
Now to figure out what's for dinner so as not to blow out the day.

Holy shit did I fall off the wagon!
So I'm not able to pin point the falling, but it happened and with it brought way too much food, candies and sodas.
FML.
Today I've put my foot down and have made a conscious decision to do better.
It also is a kick in the pants to look at the calendar and see that it's a short 2 months until soccer season starts and if I'm going to coach, I need to get active.
I ran today for the first time in a month and can honestly say it went okay.
1.89 miles averaging about 16 min miles.
The good thing was that I did more jogging than walking. I'm not following any programs at this point, just going out there and doing it, with my fancy watch to track it and my music to keep me sane.
I downloaded a food and exercise tracker on my Nook to help keep track of what I'm eating. So far today, I'm doing well. I know what's for dinner and how much I have left in the calorie bank.
So for now, it's back to finding my proper weight, not this 60+ lb inflated version.
Food tracking, exercise (even when it hurts) and not eating my exercise at night.
hold me....

Well, I've kinda fallen off the wagon the last couple of days.
I've smoothied 3 times per day, but then in the evenings I've had 3-4 crunchy tacos with a smear of beans, cheese and a ton of salsa.
I'm taking tomorrow more seriously in hopes of salvaging the week. I was up after the weekend and had gotten back down as of yesterday morning. I'm a bit scared to step on the scale the next couple of days. Bike ride is a must tomorrow.
My fat girl brain kicked in and won this round, but hopefully a cooler head will prevail tomorrow.

At the end of week 3 I'm down another 3 pounds.
I'm happy with that because although I did stick with the smoothie plan, we only went on one short bike ride this week.
This weekend I will be at soccer coach training all day on Saturday, so that will be some activity and then we will work out a plan for more biking next week. Shooting to do some biking Mon & Friday, and the playing Wed by ear depending on what we have planned with our homeschooling group. Tue and Thurs are busy with gym and swim, so I hate to tax my littlest one out too much with a long bike, but we'll see.
The weekend food plan is burritos tomorrow night and spaghetti squash on Sunday. With any luck, I'll stick with it and be back to Monday.

Wow, not doing so well tonight with the tacos in the house.
Well, in reality I had 3 bites of meat, 4 pinches of cheese and a saltine cracker.
I think it was more that I could feel the self control slipping away and the want to rally eat until it was ALL gone creeping in. That really sucked.
It's one of my fears of going back to full time food, I will fall back into habits and just eat to eat.
I know my triggers though: candy, soda, sugar coffees.
I also know that I don't have to eat in the evenings while watching tv, it's a bored habit, not a hungry habit.
This whole losing weight and being fat really sucks. These habits are so hard to break.

I'm having a frustrated day. I really don't want to go to 10+ hours of soccer training this weekend. I'm really tired of my kids and their attitudes. I really need to cut fabric so I can finish my quilt. I REALLY wanted to eat those chips and salsa last night, but I didn't.
Mostly pretty trivial stuff.
The scale has slowed down, which I knew it would, but it's a little hard to take. I've lost 1.4 lbs or so this week so far. I know this means I need to start exercising. Oh boy!
It's also started to rain, so that means my grand plans of biking will probably be shot down because that's kinda cruel to do to them. I wouldn't mind riding in the rain, but I'll have to think it over for them.
So there, my bitches are out of my head.

Another weekend gone and good! I did eat three times this weekend, but did my smoothies between. I made portabello pizza on Saturday that was quite yummy, giving me what I needed for a pizza craving. Sunday brunch was light eating a fruit bowl and 1/2 of an egg white omelet with ham, mushrooms and light Swiss cheese. Sunday dinner was out at Dos Coyotes, having one chicken taco with cilantro and onions on a double corn shell and some chips and salsa.
I did finish off the hand full of Nerd jelly beans from the drawer, but I've moved passed it and am fine. I'm not going to rush over the store to find another fix like the sugar addict in me wants to do.
I maintained over the weekend and am on the slight downward scale slide towards Friday.
Gardening of bike rides are on the agenda for the week.

This week has gone by pretty well. I'm down another almost 4 lbs. The smoothies are going well, and still tasting fine. I was able to get out and go for a couple of exercise walks as well.
The weekend will bring a bit of eating, but I'm prepared to limit. I'm making enchiladas Saturday night, ready to have 2 corn tortillas and be done. On Sunday I'm headed out with the girls and will have brunch, then some kind of BBQ dinner that evening.
It's more than I want to be eating over the weekend, but maybe we'll head out for a bike ride tomorrow to start burning some of it off.
Keep on, keepin' on!
